ESPN – US Open Design

With the US Open in full swing we reflect on the evolution of the design over the past 5 years.  Jump Studios had the honor of building the entire broadcast design package from the ground up. In 2014 Jump created a 2D ribbon world using various design layers intermixed with photos of players and iconic architectural buildings. That ribbon design then evolved to a more fluid 3D world in 2015. Jump took the design package to a whole new level in 2018 by using the latest technology to create photo realistic 3D glass elements of a tennis ball and racket. This year the glass element world expanded to include a 3D towel on a bench and tennis bag. Here is a flashback of the US Open design package through the years.
