Calgary Stampede - Young Riders 2024

Thanks to generous sponsors every year, youth organizations get to enjoy an exciting afternoon at the rodeo. The Calgary Stampede wanted a vibrant, youthful promotion for this event and Jump delivered with style. Jump crafted a playful opener using 3D layers, animated fonts, and hand-drawn elements. This dynamic composition sets the stage for this beloved annual program.

ESPN - Wimbledon

In 100 days, ESPN transformed the All England Lawn and Tennis Club by constructing two new state-of-the-art studios. The upgrades include versatile shooting options with a three-person desk, an interview zone, an interactive touchscreen, and a colossal "mega wall" video display. ESPN and Jump teamed up to design content for the new mega wall. Here is a teaser of the elements reel.

Shaw – Stampede Toolkit

IIn 2011, when approached by Shaw to create a set of mini-show opens for their coverage of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, we jumped at the chance to create something stylistically unique. Using edgy, grungy design elements with images from the event we created a package that represents the excitement and energy of the Calgary Stampede.

Rosie Awards - Graphic Design Package

Calling all producers and creative talent in Alberta! Submissions for the 2024 Alberta Film & Television (Rosie) Awards are now open and the deadline to submit is May 31st! Media Calgary Inc – greengate Garden Centres

Are you set for Mother’s Day? greengate Garden Centres has you covered with blooms and plants for Mom! greengate along with agency, Media Calgary Inc, asked Jump Studios to grow their idea for a mall digital billboard ad from a seedling to a full 3D bouquet. The idea bloomed with animation from Jump forcing the perspective to look like the flowers are coming out of the screen. And just like real giant lilies, the result is dramatic and improves any space. (Shout out to Rob Sweetman at 123 West Design for the original design and tag line!) Happy Mother’s Day!

CPKC Stadium

CPKC recently celebrated the opening of the world's first stadium specifically designed for a women's professional sports team. To commemorate this historic moment, CPKC collaborated with Jump to create a full 3D animation of a glass soccer ball that features player image reflections, a locomotive model inside the glass panes, and a bold 3D gold CPKC logo that transforms into the CPKC Stadium logo. This animation plays on the giant LED scoreboard located at the end of the field. Additionally, Jump also designed a 2D ring banner and several still images for display on various screens throughout the stadium.

Fulcrum Communications – Lux Windows ‘Clic’

Rethink privacy with just the “Clic” of a botton! Fulcrum Communications and Jump Studios collaborated on a series of Lux Windows videos featuring the new Clic product which provides instant privacy. Jump was involved in all aspects of production from casting to final delivery. Watch for this spot airing on Global.

CPKC – Rail Safety Week

CPKC and Jump Studios teamed up to produce a series of safety message videos to educate the public during Rail Safety Week. Jump kept this fast-moving project on the rails by capturing b-roll and CP Police stand-ups then went full steam ahead into post-production. Here are some tips for how to be safe around the railway.

The beauty of Alberta has been revealed in many films throughout the years. The Government of Alberta, Alberta Film and Invest Alberta reached out to Jump Studios to produce a sizzle reel highlighting Alberta and the many advantages to filming in this province. Jump crafted an engaging story using visuals from past films that showcase locations in Alberta. With state-of-the-art facilities, unrivaled locations and leading-edge post-production Alberta is the place to tell your story!

CPKC – Animations

In May, 2023, Canadian Pacific (CP) combined with Kansas City Southern to become CPKC. As part of the launch of the new company, Jump Studios was engaged to create a logo animation and 3D map highlighting CPKC’s rail routes. The project included concept design, animation and editing. Scorched Ice – Smart Skates Launch video

Jump scored when they were approached by Scorched Ice to create a launch video promoting Smart Skate hardware that allows players to skate, measure and compete. After a full day shoot capturing players in action, the team went full speed on the edit, motion graphics, and color correction to showcase the hardware and how it can improve player's games.

Banff World Media Festival

Creators, storytellers, and other media experts gathered again in Banff! The Banff World Media Festival, produced by Brunico Communications, returned to the Rockies in June. Brunico and Jump teamed up to create a design package for the awards gala and program competition. Jump used the festival’s iconic Rocky Mountain imagery in a dynamic, but clean way. This vignette showcases some of our motion graphics for the shows.

Calgary Economic Development - Graphics Package

After nearly two years of a global pandemic, what does the economic future hold for Alberta? This is the question Calgary Economic Development set out to answer at their annual Economic Outlook event. Live event producer, Bamboo Shoots, and Jump Studios teamed up to create a production that felt more like a TV show than a streamed event. Jump created a glossy red graphics package with an animated open where the camera flies through a model of the city, speaker intro cards, sponsor loops and transitions … all in CED’s brand colors and fonts.

Joe Media - Sport Select

Sport Select is a sports betting lottery platform managed by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). Production house, Joe Media and agency Pheonix Group collaborated with Jump Studios to design an entire virtual 3D set and motion graphics to highlight a new Sport Select game. Several spots were produced for broadcast and web. Jump upped their composite game to place the talent on the virtual set in this 30 second spot.
