Nur Films - Arc’teryx Alberta
Nur Films produced a documentary highlighting the partnership between Arc’teryx Alberta, Rocky Mountain Adaptive and Bowhead. Arc’teryx donated an adaptive mountain bike for people with mobility constraints, built by Bowhead, to Rocky Mountain Adaptive. Jump brought this story to life through the color correction by creating a consistent look from footage shot on a Black Magic Pocket 6K, a Pocket 4K (both on Black Magic Raw) and drone footage from a DJI Mini. Jump matched the mix of indoor and outdoor footage which resulted in a natural clean look.
Calgary Economic Development - Graphics Package
After nearly two years of a global pandemic, what does the economic future hold for Alberta? This is the question Calgary Economic Development set out to answer at their annual Economic Outlook event. Live event producer, Bamboo Shoots, and Jump Studios teamed up to create a production that felt more like a TV show than a streamed event. Jump created a glossy red graphics package with an animated open where the camera flies through a model of the city, speaker intro cards, sponsor loops and transitions … all in CED’s brand colors and fonts.
Joe Media - Sport Select
Sport Select is a sports betting lottery platform managed by the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). Production house, Joe Media and agency Pheonix Group collaborated with Jump Studios to design an entire virtual 3D set and motion graphics to highlight a new Sport Select game. Several spots were produced for broadcast and web. Jump upped their composite game to place the talent on the virtual set in this 30 second spot.
Bamboo Shoots - ATB Financial
FYI Doctors needed a partner who could see their vision and ATB Financial was the perfect fit! Production house, Bamboo Shoots approached Jump Studios for the color correction on this feature about the partnership between ATB and FYI Doctors. ATB is built to help Albertans! Check out the finished spot to see the end result.
Keller Media - Love: The Last Chapter
It is never too late to fall in love! Love: The Last Chapter navigates the delights and challenges of late-in-life romance in a seniors’ facility. Dominique Keller reached out to Jump Studios to give this story some love through the color correction and VFX. Dominique won a Rosie award for Best Director over 30 minutes (Unscripted). AMPIA - Design Package
Jump Studios was proud to be a part of the Alberta Film & Television (Rosie) Awards again this year! Jump created a classy design package that featured the glassy Rosie award. Host, Jesse Lipscombe presented from the Hyatt Regency Imperial Ballroom, with a number of presenters who have been pre-recorded in both Edmonton and Calgary. Here is a teaser of the elements reel!
CAPP - Economic Recovery
Can oil and gas help drive Canada’s economic recovery? The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and Jump Studios collaborated on this timely video to highlight important facts using stock footage, key messages, and a hopeful music track. Jump delivered several versions to be posted on social media.
ZGM - Odyssey
Odyssey Adult Living at Westman Village is Calgary’s only ownership condominiums where you can choose concierge services, a la carte healthcare or meal services. ZGM teamed up with Jump Studios to produce a commercial that reveals the endless array of amenities within Odyssey. Watch for this spot airing on Global, CTV, CityTV and CBC.
OP Teacher Productions Inc. - A Teacher
Kate Mara and Nick Robinson starred in this drama series "A Teacher" which was filmed in Calgary and aired on FX. Jump Studios was approached by OP Teacher Productions for the VFX on this 10 episode series. Jump custom-built templates for text messages and social media based on the look from 2013. Here is a teaser of our work in action!
C&B Advertising - Stampede Returns
Dig out your boots and dust off your hat! 2021 marks the return of Stampede. It took a global pandemic to shut down the Calgary Stampede in 2020 for the first time in more than 100 years, but Stampede’s back with the rodeo, the rides, the music and the food. Agency, C&B Advertising, hitched its wagon to Jump Studios for the color correction and finishing on these broadcast and web spots aimed at increasing ticket sales to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
ESPN - Generic Tennis Package
With Wimbledon underway and heading into finals this weekend, we thought it was a good time to look back on some older broadcast design packages for ESPN’s tennis coverage. Before you can get to the grass in London, you have to earn your keep at a few other tourneys. This “generic” package is a departure from our previous looks with a dark background. It was created specifically for those lead up events to set them apart from Grand Slam competitions like Wimbledon.
C&B Advertising - UFA
Farmers are not the 9-5 type…the clock “don’t stop” until you get it done! C&B Advertising reached out to Jump Studios for the color correction on this video for UFA. Jump gave the piece more grit by desaturating the footage to fit the message and edit style. Kick off your boots and enjoy a glimpse into the life of a farmer!
